1. General
1.1 Thank you for your interest in the CyberSAFE in Schools Program ("Program"). The CyberSAFE in Schools Portal  ("Portal") is part of a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative by digi and is created as an awareness and educational portal which is managed by Digi Telecommunications Sdn. Bhd. (201283-M) ("digi")in collaboration with CyberSecurity Malaysia (113925-U) ("CSM") . The Portal includes some forms of challenges, contest, competitions, quiz (collectively, "Challenges") created by digi to educate and engage visitors who are willing to become registered user ("Members") in accordance to the eligibility as stated in accordance to the terms and conditions ("Terms") below.
1.2 Members can collect and accumulate Portal points ("Points") in accordance with the terms and conditions below. The following terms and conditions (hereinafter "Program Rules" or "Rules") apply to Portal. By gaining access to, using this site, or enrolling in Portal you agree to be bound by these Program Rules, along with digi's legal terms located at www.digi.com.my, including, without limitation, the Website Terms and Conditions and Challenges Terms and Conditions. Digi reserves the right to change or cancel these Program Rules, in whole or in part, at any time, in its sole discretion, without notice to or liability to you, by posting updated text on this site. Please review these Rules periodically to ensure you are aware of any changes and are familiar with the most current version. For clarity, any such change to or cancellation of these Program Rules will apply to all Members, even those who enrolled before digi made such a change or cancellation.
2. Membership/Program Registration
2.1 Portal is a paperless, electronic educational website.
2.2 Membership in Portal is for individuals only. All other entities or parties, including but not limited to, corporations, organizations, etc., are not eligible to enroll as Members or collect Points or receive any benefits in connection with the Challenges. Members must enroll as individuals and may not pool or combine Points with other Members, even if such Members are within the same family or household. Each Member may have only one (1) Portal account.
2.3 Eligibility for Membership in the Portal is open only to all Malaysian residents aged between 7 years to 18 years and with a valid MyKad. If the Member is below 18 years of age, s/he shall confirm during registration that s/he has obtained prior consent from his or her respective parents or legal guardian to register as a Member in the Portal and to participate in the Challenges. 
2.4 Each Member must provide his or her first name, last name, gender, date of birth, school name, school address, telephone number, and a valid individual e-mail address in order to register in the Portal ("Registration"). These personal data will be maintained in accordance to the Privacy Policy as stated in the Portal. Registrations that are deemed incomplete or falsified will be automatically removed and disqualified from any of the Challenges without prior notice.
2.5 Each Member agrees that s/he has read and understood the Terms and the Privacy Policy of this Portal and agrees to be bound by the Terms by his or her Registration in the Portal. Individuals must be registered as a member of this Portal to be eligible to participate in any of the Challenges. Please refer to the Portals's Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions on the Portal, which will bind the Members and users of the Portal.
2.6 While the Portal provides a Member page, each Member shall be responsible for remaining knowledgeable about their account information, including, but not limited to, accumulated Points, and the Program Rules.
3. Accumulation/Collecting Portal Points
3.1 Members may collect and accumulate Points in the following ways (collectively, "Entries"): (1) participating in the Challenges made available from time to time in the Portal; (2) participating in the Surveys made available from time to time in the Portal; and/or (4) through special programs ("Special Programs") introduced from time to time by digi and/or the CyberSAFE in School Program partners ("Program Partners").
3.2 Digi may, in its sole discretion, from time to time, offer Members the opportunity to collect additional Points through Special Programs bonus Points. These Special Programs may be temporary in nature. Digi reserves the right to modify or eliminate such Special Programs at any time. The amount of Points offered is subject to digi's sole discretion. All Special Programs involving Points or the Program are subject to these Program Rules. In addition to these Program Rules, digi's Program Partners may have special terms and conditions that provide additional rules for the collecting, transferring, accumulating, and redeeming of Points.
3.3 Program partners are independent entities and are not agents, employees, or subcontractors of digi, and digi is not responsible for their acts or omissions (including, without limitation, the nature or quality of their Programs, Challenges or services).
3.4 All Entries for the Challenges must be the original work of the Member submitting them. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupted entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. In order to qualify for participation in the Challenges, Members must complete all the steps in the Challenges.
3.5 Points allocated to Entries for the Challenges will be given on a case-to-case basis. In the case of creative based Challenges (eg. Caption contest), the judging criteria will be based on completeness, creativity, originality and relevancy of the Entries to the Challenge.
3.6 Digi reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion which Entries is eligible to earn Points. There may be some delay between Entries of challenges and the posting of Points in your Portal Member page.
3.7 Entries that are deemed offensive will automatically be removed and disqualified from the Challenges without prior notice. Below is a list of content that is illegal or prohibited in the Portal and all Challenges. Posting of any of this content by the Member or users may, in digi's sole discretion, result in disqualification of participation. In addition, DiG reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action, in its sole discretion, against anyone who violates this provision, including without limitation, removing the offending communication from the Portal and reporting such violators to the appropriate legal authorities. Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to, contents which, in digi's sole judgment:
is offensive to the public in general, such as content that promotes vulgarity, discrimination, racism or hatred of any kind against any group or individual;
harasses or advocates harassment of another person;
involves the transmission of "junk mail," "spam," or any other unsolicited mass mailing, e-mailing, or other communication;
displays obscene, pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind;
includes material that exploits people in a sexual or violent manner;

The Challenges and/or Programs eligible for collecting Points, and/or the amount of Points available to be accrued, are subject to change by digi, at any time, without notice or liability.

4. Redemption of Portal Points
4.1 Members must sign in to their Portal Member page so that the number of Points in the account can be validated. You may redeem Portal Points for the Rewards as made available and displayed in the Portal ("Rewards") during the allocated period of redemption ("Redemption Period").
4.2 As of August 1, 2014, the Redemption Period shall be from:

1 June – 30 June 2015
1 December – 31 December 2015

The Redemption Period shall be communicated in the Portal and is subject to change by digi, at any time, without notice or liability.
4.3 Members must complete all the steps in the Redemption process ("Redemption Process") and all illegible, incomplete, or corrupted redemption entries will not be entertained. No redemptions outside the Redemption Period shall be allowed or entertained.
4.4 The number of Points required for any particular Reward is based on the published redemption Points made available at the time in the Portal and is subject to change by digi, at any time, without notice or liability. Digi reserves the right to revise, amend, modify or discontinue any of the Rewards for which Members may use Points (in whole or in part) and/or the amount of Points required to redeem any Rewards in connection with the Challenges. Digi also may offer, in its sole discretion, opportunities to redeem Points for other Reward items. Points may not be redeemed for any other Rewards as expressly permitted by digi.
4.5 No change or cancellation shall be entertained upon Member redemption of any particular Reward in the Portal. All redemptions of any Rewards may not be exchanged or replaced with Points, in whole or in part. There shall be no commercial transaction or monetary payment of any nature in the Portal.
4.6 Rewards redeemed during the Redemption Period shall be published in the Member's Page and the Member will be contacted via email or telephone based on the particulars provided during Registration.
4.7 Rewards shall be sent via regular mail/post through a third party postal service provider to the school name and school address as provided during the Registration ("Deliveries). There may be some delay between Redemption and the delivery of the Rewards to the Member.
4.8 Digi must be able to contact via email or phone call to each Member via two (2) attempts upon Member Redemption Process of the Rewards. Digi will not be held liable in the event the Member cannot be contacted for whatever reasons after 2 (two) attempts by digi to contact the Member ("Contact Period").
4.9 Any unsuccessful Deliveries within 1 (one) month from the date of Redemption Process will be forfeited. Digi is not liable for any additional costs, including expenses made to collect the Reward.
4.10 Rewards are not transferable and / or exchangeable and not for sale. No cash alternatives will be offered. Digi reserves the right to replace any of the aforementioned Reward with another Reward of the same value without prior notice.
4.11 Rewards may be governed by separate set of terms and conditions imposed by the provider of the Rewards or the Program Partners that are offering the Rewards. Where such terms are applicable, the Member will be notified.
4.12 In the event a Member is found to be ineligible at any point of time, digi reserves the right to disqualify the said Member and to cancel/ withdraw/ recall the Rewards from being delivered to the ineligible Member. If the Member has enjoyed the Rewards, the ineligible Member  hereby agree and undertake to indemnify digi for the cost of the Reward, failing which, digi shall have the right to initiate any action it deems necessary against the ineligible Member.
4.13 Digi reserves the right to reject any Entries and / or withhold Rewards or forfeit the Rewards (including occasions where digi believes that there are unlawful, deceitful and / or fraudulent acts and practices); vary, delete or add to any of the mechanics, Rewards or these Terms and Conditions, alter, cancel, terminate or suspend the Challenge or any part thereof without any prior notice.
4.14 All decisions by digi, including but not limited to the forfeiture of Rewards are final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence or claims shall be entertained.
5. Points Expiration
5.1 As of August 1, 2014, Portal Points do not expire. Should a Member de-register or close his or her Portal page, the Points in that account will be terminated. As set forth in these Program Rules, digi has the right to cancel all or some of the Points in a Portal Member's Account should digi determine, in its sole discretion, that the Member has violated these Rules or otherwise engaged in fraud, misrepresentation, abuse or other improper conduct.
5.2 Balance of Points unused will be automatically forfeited in the event that digi, in its sole discretion, decides to suspend, terminate the Portal or is no longer able to manage the CyberSAFE in Schools Program, due to reasons beyond its control, in whole or in part, at any time, without notice or liability.
6. Privacy
6.1 For information on how digi collects and uses personally identifiable information that you may provide us in the course of enrolling as a Member, or updating your profiles or preferences in Portal, please visit the "Privacy Policy" link at the bottom of the page.
6.2 Program partners and agencies (eg.web vendor) appointed by digi to collect and store information such as Member's details will be collected and stored in accordance with the Privacy Policy. The information is collected for the administration of this Portal, Challenges, Surveys, Rewards and Redemption, and the information and will not be distributed to otherwise third parties without the consent of Members.
6.3 Digi reserves the right to use the pictures, text or captions of the Entries in any medium for publicity, advertising, press releases, press conferences and/or trade without notice and/or compensation whatsoever.
6.4 The Member agrees and consents to such details including without limitation personal data/information being collected, processed and used by digi for;
a. the purposes of the Program, Portal and Challenges;
b. marketing and promotional activities conducted in such manner as digi sees fit worldwide in any media including without limitation the Internet, without further express consent from, and payment or consideration to the relevant entrants. Marketing and promotion activities includes without limitation the use and/or publication of any details provided in and/or in connection to the entries, interviews material as well responses and related photographs. In this regard, each entrant agrees to co-operate and participate without further express consent and/or payment or consideration, in all reasonable advertising and publicity activities of digi relating to the Portal and Challenges.
c. other promotional, marketing and publicity notification/information including future promotional, marketing and publicity notification/information from digi from time to time.
6.5 In addition, where any of the data/information especially personal data relating to the entrants and/or third parties (where applicable) are submitted to digi and/or by any entrant in connection to this Portal, each Member;
a. warrants that he/she is in possession of all necessary consents and shall continue to maintain such consents as may be required for digi's and/or usage and processing of such data/information; and
b. agrees that it shall be the Participant's responsibility to advise digi in writing should there be any relevant change in the said data/information provided to digi a which requires action on the part of digi.
7. Changes to these Program Rules, Portal Point Levels and Rewards
Digi may, among other things, in its sole discretion, for any reason, and without notice or liability to the Member: (i) withdraw, limit, modify, or cancel Points or Rewards; (ii) suspend or cancel any Member's Portal page or account (and/or seize any Points associated with such account) if that Member has violated any of the Program Rules, in digi's sole discretion; (iii) change, modify, delete (in whole or in part), supplement and/or cancel any Program Rules in connection with the Program, including but not limited to, Portal Point balances, Redemption Period, Redemption requirements, conditions of participation or Entries, rules for collecting, redeeming, retaining or forfeiting Points, rules for the use of Points, Point expiration rules, etc.; or (iv) terminate the Program or Portal with one month notice, which notice shall appear on the digi website. digi may make any one or more of these changes even though such changes may affect the Member's ability to use the Points that the Member has already accumulated
8. Responsibility and Limitation of Liability
8.1. The Member hereby agrees and irrevocably and unconditionally undertakes to indemnify digi and/or the Program Partners (on full indemnity basis) against any claim by any third party and against any loss, damage, cost or expense (including solicitors' fees and cost) that it may suffer or incur as a result of or in connection with the Challenge, Rewards and the Redemption.
8.2. The Member further agrees :-

to release and hold harmless digi and / or the Specified Persons against any and/or all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Reward (including resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any Reward, or travel to or from any Reward-related activity and claims based defamation, or invasion of privacy);

that digi and/or the Specified Parties make no warranties, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use or enjoyment of any of the Reward, including, without limitation to, their quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

that digi and /or the Specified Persons shall not be liable for any losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind (including without limitation loss of damage to property or any personal injury or loss of life, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with the Portal, and/or the Reward, even if digi has been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance; whether or not due to and /or arising from :

a. telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, server or computer malfunctions, failures, interruptions, miscommunications or difficulties of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electrical, including, without limitation to, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information online;
b. late, lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible e-mails;
c. virus attacks and/or any other malicious software infection to the subscribers' mobile phones arising from the downloading of these contents, any failed, incomplete, lost, garbled, jumbled, interrupted, unavailable or delayed electronic transmissions;
d. any condition caused by events beyond the control of digi including those due to any act of God, war, riot, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm or any event beyond the reasonable control of digi;
e. any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Portal; and
f. any claims by third party for infringement of intellectual property rights.

Specified Persons means : digi, and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees; agents, representatives, partners and contractors including contradvertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors and / or joint - organizer.
9. All other terms and conditions governing the use of any of digi's mobile telecommunication services shall apply herein mutatis mutandis.
10. The failure to exercise or delay in exercising a right or remedy provided hereunder or by law does not constitute a waiver of the right or remedy or waiver of other rights or remedies. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Malaysian law and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
